COAST warranties its COAST knives, tools, COAST LED Flashlights/Headlamps and ZITHION-X AA/AAA Batteries to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, nor damage resulting from misuse or neglect. Warranty does not cover batteries and charging accessories (or damage caused by either). Non-ZXAA or ZXAAA Batteries or damage caused by batteries (i.e. leakage) is not included in the guarantee.

The COAST-patented Rechargeable-Dual Power technology allows the HP3R to run on either a COAST ZITHION-X™ lithium polymer rechargeable battery or alkaline batteries, and with the Flex Charge system and PRO-TEK Charging Port, charging the battery inside or outside the light is effortless.

      Each COAST Rechargeable-Dual Power product comes with a ported ZITHION-X™ rechargeable battery or a non-ported ZITHION™ rechargeable battery and is compatible with either COAST Extreme Performance alkaline batteries or other brand-name battery types, depending on the product. This provides you the cost savings of using rechargeable and the flexibility of reverting to alkaline.
