COAST warranties its COAST knives, tools, COAST LED Flashlights/Headlamps and ZITHION-X AA/AAA Batteries to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, nor damage resulting from misuse or neglect. Warranty does not cover batteries and charging accessories (or damage caused by either). Non-ZXAA or ZXAAA Batteries or damage caused by batteries (i.e. leakage) is not included in the guarantee.

The knife boasts safety features galore to keep you safe from accidents. The frame lock allows for secure, single-handed blade control by using the knife's frame as a locking mechanism, which will enable you to keep one hand free while opening and closing the knife. Double the safety with the double lock, allowing you to make rugged cuts much more safely by pushing the Double Lock switch forward to block the Liner-Lock from possibly disengaging and allowing the blade to close on your hand.

Adjust the safety detent-action (which controls how easily the knife closes) with the tension screw on the side of the knife.
